Several special planning programs have been implemented by the Planning and Community Development Department to either comprehensively plan a specific area or to process private development applications that are unique and controversial in nature. To date, the County has initiated and adopted a Comprehensive Plan for the Vineyard Springs area. In addition, the Planning and Community Development is currently in the process of implementing a planning process for the Florin-Vineyard "Gap" planning area.
