South Sacramento HCP Species Analysis Documents
The purpose of the individual
species account is to clearly document the conservation
needs of each SSHCP covered species relative to
their occurrence and distribution in the planning
area and to consider the impacts of proposed activities.
The accounts include species-specific conservation
strategies, which provide the basic building blocks
for comprehensive protection.
In addition to providing
baseline information required to secure permits
for the SSHCP, the species accounts will address
ongoing plan implementation issues such as land
management considerations, compliance and effectiveness
monitoring and adaptive management strategies.
To view an individual species analysis document click on the name of the species below. Analysis documents will be
added as they are finalized by the SSHCP Steering Committee. Species names that appear in blue text are available for viewing at this time. All of
the following files are available in PDF format which can only be viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
